Should I take a late payment and wait for student aid?

I am wondering weather I should take a late payment fee on my tuition to wait for student aid. If I pay it now with a credit card will the aid check be refunded to me or will the college reject the aid check because my tuition is already paid?

Usually if you pay the tuition up front, the financial aid will reimburse you. You qualify for financial aid based on your income, so making a payment will not negate the fact that you need help paying! Taking a late fee will only increase the money you are out of at the end.Take care
